Class Description
This two-session class
is designed to give students a basic introduction to knitting in the round plus an opportunity to take their lace technique
one step beyond the yarn over stitch. Students will knit a popular child’s
beach hat pattern, On the Sunny Side,
designed by Adorabubble Knits. They will learn how to work the brim in either
an open or closed lacework pattern, how to decrease stitches, and the basics of knitting in the round with double pointed
needles (dpns). Made with any worsted weight yarn in cotton or other natural
light-weight summer fibers, your little ones will look and feel cool in this adorable beach hat!
